Cleaning business software, priced at the tier you would actually buy
Cleaning business software is the system that takes the booking, holds the schedule, reminds the customer and collects the money. Expect to pay about $53 a month as a solo cleaner on a plan that genuinely includes online booking, and anywhere between $75 and $299 a month once you have ten cleaners, depending almost entirely on how the vendor counts what you are buying.

What does cleaning business software cost?
Every comparison page you will read quotes the cheapest plan on the vendor pricing page. Almost nobody buys that plan, because online booking, automated reminders and card payments sit a tier higher. These are the nine tools we price most often across cleaning, lawn care and pest control, quoted on the tier a working crew actually needs.
| Tool | Trade | Solo | Crew of 3 | Crew of 10 | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| All trades | $0 | $0 | $0 | No customer booking and no invoicing, so it cannot be the only system | |
| Commercial cleaning | $150 | $150 | $150 | Priced by number of locations with unlimited employees. This is Optimize billed monthly for up to fifteen locations, $120 a month billed annually. The $30 Launch plan has been withdrawn | |
| Cleaning | $53 | $81 | $179 | Pro is $39 plus $14 a month for every person on the team, so $53 at one and $179 at ten. Starter at $19 has no booking form and caps you at forty appointments a month | |
| Cleaning | $75 | $75 | $75 | Automatic card charging only appears on Plus at $299 a month | |
| Cleaning | Could not confirm | Could not confirm | Could not confirm | The pricing page is a wizard rather than a plan table. It shows plan prices only after industry, team size and goals are entered, and does not say whether they are monthly or annual rates, so no figure here is dated as a reading | |
| Lawn care | $0 | $39 | $249 | The free plan stops at 25 customers and reminders need the $129 Grow tier | |
| Pest control | $99 | Per route | Per route | Priced per route with unlimited users, so headcount does not change the bill. Pro is $99 for one route, $149 for two, $199 for three, $299 for five and $549 for ten | |
| Lawn care | $149 | Not published | Not published | Starter is $149 a month paying monthly or $129 on annual billing, and an annual contract is required either way. Office and mobile user licences are extra and priced only on request, so the plan price is not the bill | |
| All trades | $139 | $199 | $299 | Connect is banded by team size, not per seat. Monthly it is $139 for 1 user, $199 for the 2 to 5 band and $299 for the 6 to 10 band. Annual billing is $99, $149 and $229 |
On the ZenMaid figuresZenMaid charges per person on the team and counts office staff too, so a three cleaner company with an office manager is four people and pays $95 on Pro. The columns above count only people who need a login. Prices are the Pro tier at every crew size: Starter is cheaper but capped at forty appointments a month, which a crew of ten passes easily, so quoting it in a ten cleaner column would flatter it. Read on 2 October 2026. The full ZenMaid pricing breakdown shows every tier at every size.
On the GorillaDesk figuresGorillaDesk charges per route and includes unlimited users, so headcount does not change the bill. A ten person crew running two routes pays the two route price, $149 a month on Pro. That is why the crew columns above read Per route rather than carrying a figure: the number of people is not what GorillaDesk bills for. One route on Pro, the cheapest tier with online booking, is $99 a month, and the published ladder runs $149 at two routes, $199 at three, $299 at five and $549 at ten. Read on 2 October 2026.
On the Swept figuresSwept prices by the number of locations cleaned rather than by headcount, and lists unlimited employees on every plan, so the crew columns do not move. The figure above is Optimize billed monthly, the entry plan since the $30 Launch plan was withdrawn, and it covers up to fifteen locations. Billing annually brings it to $120 a month. Scale is $225 monthly or $180 annually, and Accelerate, for fifty or more locations, is priced on request. Read on 4 November 2026.
Prices are the monthly cost of the lowest tier that includes online booking, not the cheapest tier on the vendor pricing page. Figures at one, three and ten users, billed monthly, read from each vendor pricing page in November 2026. Crew prices are calculated from a published base rate plus a published per seat or per schedule rate and are not quotes. Each row links to the full comparison it came from. Small Crew has not used this software.
Two things decide the bill more than any feature list. The first is which tier hides the booking form, which on Jobber is the difference between $49 and $139 a month. The second is the pricing model, and it is the one most comparison pages get wrong. Launch27 is genuinely flat and costs $75 at one cleaner and at ten. ZenMaid looks flat and is not: its advertised $39 is the price before a single person is added, and it reaches $179 at ten. That is why a ten person cleaning company can pay $75 a month on Launch27 or $299 a month on Jobber, both of which take a booking, hold a schedule and invoice. Housecall Pro is absent from that comparison because its pricing page will not produce a figure at all. The accounting tools in the table above are cheaper again and do none of those three things.
Which tool fits the size you are now?
The right cleaning management system changes at every hire. What breaks at four people is not what breaks at one.
Just me
The phone is the bottleneck. Every quote request arrives while you are holding a hose, and the ones you return two days later have already booked someone else.
Online booking2 to 4 peopleSmall crew
The schedule stops living in your head. Someone else needs to see today without calling you, and a job moved in a text message is a job that gets missed.
Scheduling5 to 10 peopleTwo crews out
Drive time becomes the largest cost you are not measuring. Two crews crossing town twice a day is a wage bill you pay and never invoice.
Routing10 to 20 peopleOffice staff now
Someone is doing the books who is not you. The question stops being which app schedules jobs and becomes which app your bookkeeper will not fight every month.
AccountingCompare software for your trade
Nineteen comparisons across three trades. Every guide prices the tier that includes online booking, at one, three and ten users, and dates the figure.
Cleaning
Residential, commercial and carpet cleaning. Every tool priced on the tier that actually includes online booking, at one, three and ten cleaners.
Lawn care
Lawn care and landscape maintenance. Seasonal contracts, route density and the awkward second season of snow removal.
Pest control
Recurring service agreements, state licence records and the chemical application logs that general purpose software does not hold.
Same crew, same job, wildly different bill
The cheapest and the dearest way to run a crew of ten, counting only tools that can take a booking, hold a schedule and invoice. Ledgers and staff apps are cheaper and are left out, because a business cannot run on one.
A one or two truck operator billing per push. Compared on snow removal software priced for a dedicated snow contractor.
Crews that quote as much as they clean. Compared on the best cleaning business software for a crew under twenty.
Both of these take a booking, hold a schedule and invoice, which is what makes the comparison worth anything. That is a 29.9 times spread, or $3,468 a year, between the cheapest and dearest way to run a ten person crew on a system that does the whole job. Accounting tools such as Wave and staff tools such as Connecteam cost less and are deliberately excluded here, because neither can take a booking. Of the 71 system entries on this site, 34 carry a published figure at ten users, and the rest are quote only or could not be confirmed.
How we compare
We price the tier a real business needs. Vendors advertise an entry plan that looks affordable and then place online booking, automated reminders or card payments one tier above it. A cleaning company that cannot take a booking online is not running the software, it is running a phone. So every price here is the lowest tier that includes online booking, quoted at one, three and ten users, with per seat costs added in rather than hidden in a footnote.
Every price is dated because vendor pricing changes several times a year. A comparison page with no date on it is a guess dressed up as research. Each guide carries the month and year its figures were read off the vendor pricing page. Where a vendor routes pricing through a sales call the table says so, and where we could not reach a pricing page at all it says that instead of guessing.
We say plainly where a tool is the wrong choice. Every guide has a section on who should not buy each tool, and every pick names a real flaw. Small Crew has not used this software and does not claim to have tested it. What you are reading is documented pricing and published features, read carefully and compared honestly, which is a different thing from a review and more useful than most of them.
